Position Overview

Assistant Professor in Supply Chain Management

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver high-quality courses in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, and related areas at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Integrate industry practices and emerging trends such as digital supply chains, sustainability, and AI applications into teaching.
• Guide and mentor students in academic projects, internships, and career development.
• Conduct impactful research, publish in reputed journals, and present at academic conferences.
• Collaborate with industry stakeholders for guest lectures, consultancy, and live projects.
• Contribute to curriculum enhancement in alignment with current industry needs and global best practices.
• Participate in departmental and university activities, committees, and community outreach initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Educational:

  MBA/PGDM in relevant specialization with UGC/AICTE-compliant qualifications. Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management / Operations Management / Logistics or related field from a recognized institution will be preferrable.

• Experience:

  Minimum of 2–5 years of teaching experience at the university/college level and/or significant industry experience in supply chain/logistics/operations.
• Demonstrated research publications in peer-reviewed journals.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain tools, analytics, and technology applications.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to SAP, Oracle SCM, or other supply chain management systems.
• Experience in sustainability practices and global supply chain strategies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across academic and administrative teams.
