The Assistant Professor – Management will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, conducting impactful research, guiding student projects, and participating in academic and administrative responsibilities within the department. The candidate must demonstrate subject expertise in one or more areas of management such as Marketing, Finance, HRM, Operations, Strategy, or Entrepreneurship. Key Responsibilities:Teaching & Learning Design and deliver lectures, seminars, and case studies at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Develop curriculum, learning materials, and assessments in alignment with program outcomes. Foster critical thinking and interactive learning methods in the classroom. Supervise internships, dissertations, and student projects. Research & Publication Undertake original research in relevant areas of management. Publish in peer-reviewed national and international journals. Apply for research grants and collaborate on funded research projects. Present papers in academic conferences and seminars. Academic Administration Assist in departmental planning, course scheduling, and committee work. Participate in accreditation, quality assurance, and academic audits. Maintain student records, grades, and other academic documentation. Student Support & Mentorship Advise and mentor students on academic and career matters. Encourage co-curricular and extracurricular participation. Promote a respectful and inclusive classroom environment. Professional Development & Contribution Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in management education. Contribute to institutional outreach and consultancy projects. Engage with industry professionals and promote academia-industry linkages. Qualifications & Eligibility (As per UGC norms): Master’s Degree in Management or a related discipline with minimum 55% marks. NET/SET qualified or PhD in Management (preferred). Teaching/Industry/Research experience of at least 2 years (desirable). Key Skills & Competencies: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Classroom management and student engagement. Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in academic teams. Technological proficiency (e-learning platforms, MS Office, data analysis tools).
