Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Professor at Roorkee Institute of Technology, located in Roorkee. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing and delivering engaging lectures, mentoring students, conducting academic research, evaluating assignments, and assisting in curriculum development. They will also participate in departmental activities and collaborate with colleagues to maintain academic excellence and foster student success.

Qualifications

• Expertise in subject area with skills in curriculum design, preparation of lecture material, and evaluation methods.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, along with the ability to engage and inspire students effectively.
• Experience in research methodology, publishing academic papers, and participating in conferences or seminars.
• Proficiency in using modern teaching tools and technology to facilitate effective learning.
• Collaborative and team-oriented approach for working with peers, faculty, and academic committees.
• Understanding of industry requirements to guide students towards practical and professional skill development.
• Minimum educational qualification: A Master's degree in the relevant subject (Ph.D. candidates will be given preference).
• Prior teaching experience in a recognized institute or university is an advantage but not mandatory.
