Assistant Professor

GITAM (Deemed to be University) invites applications for a faculty position in Operations & Supply Chain Management within the GITAM School of Business. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and Post graduate courses, conduct research in the field of Operations & Supply Chain Managment, and contribute to departmental and institutional service.

Faculty of Operations & Supply Chain Management are require to teach Digital Transformation in Supply Chains: Technology and Innovation, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Strategic Logistics Management, Decision Science for Business Management, Quality Management and Lean Six Sigma, Supply Chain Analytics, Circular Economy

• Engage in scholarly research and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
• Advise and mentor students academically and professionally.
• Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to service activities at the departmental, college, and university levels.
• Engage with industry partners and support student internship opportunities.

Education & Experience

• Ph.D. in Operations & Supply Chain Management, or related field
• MBA in Operations or related field
• Effective teaching or potential for excellence in teaching.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in IT, business analytics, or cybersecurity.
• Demonstrated research record or potential for scholarly productivity.
• Familiarity with learning management systems and technology-enhanced teaching.
