Position: Assistant/Associate Professor – Operations & Management

Department: Management Studies

Programs: BBA/MBA & Other Postgraduate Management Courses

Location: Integrated Academy of Management & Technology, Ghaziabad.


Role Summary

The Faculty for Operations & Management will be responsible for teaching graduate & postgraduate management students, conducting research, mentoring learners, and contributing to academic and institutional development. The role demands subject expertise, strong communication skills, and an ability to deliver both theoretical and practical knowledge relevant to modern industry requirements.


Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching & Learning

  • Deliver lectures for BBA/MBA courses in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Production Planning, Quality Management, Project Management, Business Analytics, and related subjects.
  • Develop course materials including lesson plans, PPTs, case studies, and practical assignments.
  • Conduct workshops, tutorials, and doubt-clearing sessions for students.
  • Use modern pedagogical tools such as simulations, case-based learning, ICT-enabled teaching, and LMS platforms.

2. Academic Administration

  • Prepare academic plans, teaching schedules, assessment schemes, and internal evaluation frameworks.
  • Conduct examinations, evaluate answer scripts, and maintain student performance records.
  • Participate in curriculum development and academic quality improvement initiatives.


3. Research & Publications

  • Engage in academic research, publish papers in reputed journals, and present at conferences.
  • Guide students in research projects, dissertations, and internships.

4. Student Mentoring & Support

  • Act as a mentor for assigned student groups for academic and career guidance.
  • Support students in projects, internships, industry visits, and placements.

5. Industry & Institutional Engagement

  • Coordinate with industry professionals to arrange guest lectures, workshops, and practical learning sessions.
  • Support departmental activities, events, accreditation processes (NAAC, AICTE), and institutional committees.

6. Professional Development

  • Stay updated with the latest trends in Operations, Supply Chain, Lean Management, Six Sigma, and related domains.
  • Pursue certifications, training programs, and faculty development initiatives as required.


Required Qualifications

Educational

  • MBA/PGDM in Operations/General Management from a recognized university.
  • PhD (preferred) or UGC-NET qualification.

Experience

  • Minimum

    2–5 years

    teaching experience in PG-level management courses (freshers with strong academic record may also apply).
  • Industry experience in Operations/Project Management will be an added advantage.

Skills

  • Strong subject knowledge & academic orientation.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to engage students and deliver outcome-based education.
