As an Assistant Manager/Manager - Business Development in the Design and Engineering service industry, your role will involve spearheading sales and business development initiatives. Your experience in the engineering services sector, specifically in Industrial/Medical & Healthcare/Aerospace & Defence, will be crucial for identifying and developing new business opportunities, establishing client relationships, and closing deals effectively. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to discover and pursue new business prospects - Cultivate and sustain relationships with clients and prospects, understanding their needs and preferences - Conduct market research and analysis to spot trends and opportunities in the engineering services domain - Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation to deal closure, including drafting proposals and negotiating contracts - Collaborate with the executive team to devise pricing strategies, marketing materials, and other sales support tools - Participate in industry events and conferences to network and engage with potential clients - Coordinate with the project management team to ensure successful service delivery to clients - Provide regular updates and reports to the management and executive team on sales performance, market trends, and competitive activities **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
