Assistant Manager - Travel

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all travel arrangements, guidelines and budgets in order to ensure efficient & risk free corporate travel
• Negotiate contracts with travel service providers and hospitality chains/ hotels/ service apartments
• Suggest improvements and innovation in travel programs
• Ensure compliance with different relevant travel policies and procedures
• Ability to book charters and helicopters for senior executive travel and coordinate all aspects of the same including meet and greet, cabs as well as hotel bookings at destinations
• Detailed knowledge of Forex, Visa and passport regulations and processes toobtain/ renew the same
• Analyzing and preparing reports on travel spends
• Managing and processing all travel-related documentation, including payments, itineraries, visas, medical insurance and legal forms.

Key Qualification & Skills Required:

• A bachelor's degree in tourism or similar diploma, travel or hospitality
• In-depth knowledge of domestic and foreign travel destinations and means of travel to these locations
• Booking excursions, flights, and hotels, as well as arranging transport according to client specifications.
• Good communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, basic understanding of Geography.

Experience Required:

A minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in the travel industry, along with a 2-3

years supervisory experience may be preferred.

Software/Tools/Systems Exposure:

MS Office, Google Docs and GDS solutions
