Assistant Manager - Taxation

• Prepare and file tax returns, including Goods and Services Tax (GST), TDS, income tax, and other relevant taxes.
• Making tax calculations with accuracy and maintain complete tax-related documentation and records.
• Getting retail stores registered under GST regime and obtain the necessary GST registration number.
• Issue GST-compliant invoices to customers, including all the required details such as GSTIN, tax rates, and amounts. Ensure that invoices are generated in accordance with GST rules and regulations.
• Maintain proper records of all eligible input tax credits. Verify that vendors and suppliers have valid GST registration and provide GST-compliant invoices for claiming ITC.
• Prepare and file periodic GST returns within the specified due dates. This includes GSTR-1 (outward supplies), GSTR-3B (summary return), and GSTR-9 (annual return), among others.
• Reconcile GST returns with the books of accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies
• Coordinate and support tax audits and provide all the required details pertaining to tax matter as & when asked by tax authorities.
  

Corporate Accounts Profile

• To assist in closing the books of accounts and posting of month end entries in the system
• To compile details required for Audit of books and coordinate with Auditors and other Stakeholders for timely closing of books.
• Prepare Bank reconciliation statement on daily basis
• Should have knowledge of preparing Balance Sheet, Cash flow and P&L Statement
• Preparation of monthly MIS pertaining to Ageing of Receivables, Payables etc & other information as may be required.
