Assistant Manager - Supply Chain Management

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement & Purchasing:

  • Handle procurement of construction materials, equipment, and services.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders based on project requirements.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors and suppliers.

• Vendor Management:

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors/suppliers.
  • Maintain vendor database and monitor supplier performance.
  • Build long-term relationships with strategic suppliers.

• Inventory & Logistics:

  • Coordinate material deliveries to project sites and manage logistics.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with project teams to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Implement inventory control systems and perform regular audits.

• Cost & Budget Management:

  • Track procurement costs and work within the project budget.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize supply chain processes.

• Compliance & Documentation:

  • Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Maintain records of purchases, contracts, and procurement activities.

• Cross-functional Coordination:

  • Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and finance teams to align supply chain activities with project schedules.
