Job Description

As the Assistant Manager Supply Chain at our company, your role involves overseeing and managing our supply chain and procurement operations. You will be responsible for ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely availability of materials. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing effective supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives. - Managing procurement of raw materials, equipment, and services at the best possible price, quality, and delivery terms. - Identifying, evaluating, and building relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors. - Negotiating contracts, terms, and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable conditions. - Monitoring supplier performance, quality standards, and delivery timelines. - Overseeing inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels and avoid shortages or overstock. - Collaborating with operations, production, and finance teams to forecast demand and align procurement accordingly. - Ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and sustainability practices. - Implementing cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement in supply chain processes. - Preparing regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and supply chain efficiency. Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (Masters preferred). - Proven experience (5+ years) in supply chain, procurement, or supply management roles. - Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes, inventory control, and vendor management. - Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
