Job Description

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Give request for consumable and spares procurement based on user indents and annual budget
  • Periodic follow-up with suppliers for timely delivery of materials
  • Coordinate the quality check of materials received by the users
  • Store materials/consumables in a safe manner
  • Issue materials based on PM orders and upate the documents
  • Carry out periodic stores audits
  • Maintain optimum inventory level
  • Monitor actual consumable costs against budgeted costs

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with central stores for the delivery/disposal of diesel/scrap/waste to the terminal
  • Prepare monthly MIS for AMCT stores/services
  • Coordinate with main stores for taking required materials for AMCT stores
  • Carryout periodic physical verification of stock and reconcile the stock
  • Update entries in SAP system on all aspects related to stores and inventories.
  • Complete all IMS activities timely and maintain all records and follow processes as per ISO documentation
