Role & responsibilities Inventory & Store Management Supervise day-to-day store operations including receiving, binning, storage, and dispatch of materials. Maintain accurate inventory levels for fabricated parts, chassis components, pumps, valves, hoses, electrical items, foam tanks, and other fire-vehicle specific materials. Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and reconcile variances. Implement and monitor FIFO / FEFO principles. B. Material Planning & Coordination Coordinate with Production, Purchase, and Planning teams to ensure timely availability of materials for vehicle assembly. Track critical components such as fire pumps, PTOs, monitors, siren systems, control panels, and safety equipment. C. Documentation & ERP Maintain updated records in ERP/MRP systems (SAP / Tally / Oracle / Infor etc.). Ensure correct documentation for GRN, MRN, issue slips, return notes, and stock statements. Track vendor deliveries, pending orders, and material shortages. D. Quality & Compliance Ensure incoming materials comply with quality standards and coordinate with QC for inspection. Follow safety and housekeeping standards appropriate to a fire-fighting equipment manufacturing facility.
