Quality Inspector Final Inspection Tender Specifications at Indapur

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform final inspection of liquid waste management vehicles and fire & rescue management vans to ensure compliance with tender specifications, customer requirements, and internal quality standards.
• Prepare checklists and inspection documents in accordance with tender specifications for internal departments and suppliers.
• Verify mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and structural systems as per approved designs and technical criteria defined in the tender documents.
• Apply knowledge of relevant Indian and International Standards during inspections.
• Inspect overall vehicle fitment, finishing, painting, branding, and safety features prior to dispatch.
• Review all quality-related documents, including inspection checklists, Pre-Dispatch Inspection (PDI) reports, functional test results, and tender compliance records.
• Coordinate with production, design, and dispatch teams to resolve any quality deviations or issues.
• Ensure vehicle readiness for customer inspections or Third-Party Inspections (TPI) prior to dispatch.
• Maintain detailed records of inspection outcomes, non-conformities, and compliance reports.
• Participate in internal audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in vehicle quality processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Automobile, or Production Engineering.
• 1012 years of experience in quality inspection of special-purpose vehicles, with a strong understanding of government tender specifications.
• In-depth knowledge of hydraulic systems, vehicle fabrication, automotive electricals, and assembly standards.
