Job Description

As a Safety Officer, your role will involve: - Planning and documenting Corporate SHE initiatives - Monitoring and evaluating the implementation of SHE practices - Assisting and guiding Zonal teams in implementing SHE Management System - Advising and supporting execution/service teams in incorporating safety standards and procedures - Conducting audits across all business units - Organizing and delivering safety training for employees - Identifying hazards and assessing risks for new activities and guiding the site team for implementation - Reviewing and updating safety documentation - Investigating fatal/dangerous occurrences, reviewing near misses, LTIs, and MTIs, and recommending corrective measures - Coordinating with Project Directors/Heads to update on work status and safety standards at sites - Coordinating the recruitment, appraisal, and mobilization of the safety team as needed - Reviewing and updating contractor safety management - Planning and organizing SHE conclaves - Coordinating and assisting in organizing safety events - Preparing and reviewing safety training matrix Qualifications required for this role are: - BE/Diploma, B.Sc./M.Sc., or Diploma in Industrial Safety Preferred experience: - 5-12 years in Safety - Exposure to handling multiple sites - Experience in team building - Thorough knowledge of safety processes and documentation,
