Assistant Manager Safety

Location: - Seetharampur , Rangareddy , Telangana

Roles & Responsibilities:

a) Individual Responsibilities

i) Position will be responsible for coordinating regulatory programs and its permitting applications. Support the development and coordination of training programs in support of our training goals.

ii) Conduct weekly and monthly safety meetings in accordance with OGL requirements and maintain the records.

iii) Perform and contribute to the Site Training Plans by conducting employee orientations, emergency response training and coordination of modular training programs for the operation.

iv) Ensure inspections by regulatory agencies are coordinated and deficiencies minimized and corrected.

v) Maintain all logs and documentation associated with permits and regulatory requirements.

vi) Responsible for coordinating regulatory programs and its applications and help support the compliance Process supporting and providing relief for the environmental department.

vii) Maintain filing systems regarding EHS, regulatory works and worker training and safety.

viii) Investigate industrial accidents, near-miss incidents, and occupational injuries to determine causes, install preventive measures, and manage return-to-work activities.

ix) Coordinate employee safety programs to determine their adequacy including review of short- and long-term strategic safety planning and development

x) EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) compliances fulfilment.

b) Core Competencies

i) Strong written and verbal communication skills.

ii) Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

iii) Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

iv) Local Language of Telugu will be preferable.

c) Other Competencies:

i) Basic to intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

ii) Read, write and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions

iii) SAP knowledge for PR, PO, Service Entry, etc.
