Job Description

As an Assistant Manager- Procurement for the healthcare vertical, you will play a crucial support role in the Procurement function. Your responsibilities will include managing day-to-day activities and overseeing the financial aspects of Procurement projects. Your role will involve creating and analyzing complex spreadsheets, documents, reports, and presentations for Procurement initiatives from various data sources. Additionally, you will examine monthly cost reports, provide explanations for expense variances, and submit journal entries for accruals and adjustments during month-end close. Key Responsibilities: - Create and analyze complex spreadsheets, documents, reports, and presentations for Procurement initiatives - Examine monthly cost reports and provide explanations for expense variances - Submit journal entries for accruals and adjustments during month-end close - Develop and implement strategic processes to support organizational objectives through data analytics and cross-functional collaboration - Conduct data analysis and obtain stakeholder/user feedback for process improvement - Communicate strategies and results through recurring reporting to leadership - Manage and develop team members - Support commodity managers with RFIs, RFPs, financial and performance clauses, metrics, terms, and rebates/penalties to ensure the best bid among vendors - Conduct post-implementation analysis to identify problems Qualification Requirements: - Proficient in procurement management, market research, and process improvement - Experienced in gathering data and benchmarking to support business cases - Demonstrates cross-functional collaboration, team-building, and project management skills - Responsible for timely and accurate report generation - Understands the impact of technology on business and processes - Possesses strong communication and analytical skills - Experienced in providing analytical support - Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.) Educational Qualifications: - B. Com / M.Com / MBA Finance Relevant Experience: - 3-5 years of experience - Experience with vendor sourcing (Preferred) - Experience with negotiations (Preferred) - Experience with contract management (Preferred) - Experience with AP processes (Preferred),
