Assistant Manager-Procurement

**Job Description:** As a candidate for the role of MRO Category Manager, you will play a crucial role in the growth and management of the MRO category. Your primary responsibility will be to acquire and manage relevant brands and vendors/suppliers in the Industrial/Business space. You should be a true techno-commercial individual who thrives on taking up new challenges. Your ability to scale up the supplier base, optimize inventory, and pricing will be key to your success in this role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage suppliers/vendors across various MRO product categories in the Industrial/Business space. - Proactively onboard new vendors and categories by improving Quality, Cost, and Delivery terms with suppliers nationwide. - Drive standardization by ensuring consistency in products, processes, and prices. - Identify categories for onboarding. - Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Warehouse teams to ensure order fulfillment and enhance supplier NPS. - Engage with Finance, Technology, and HR departments to manage stakeholders effectively, including vendors, customers, and team members. - Handle onboarding, price negotiations, and new category introductions with vendors, brands, and suppliers. **Qualifications & Experience:** - **Work Experience:** - Minimum 3 years of experience in Strategic Procurement/Vendor Management within the B2B-Enterprise space. - **Knowledge/Skills:** - Proficient in vendor development with extensive networks in supplier markets related to B2B/Industrial sectors. - **Education:** - B.Tech degree, preferably in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
