Job Title: MICE Manager / Assistant Manager Operations

Department: MICE & Corporate Events

Reports To: V.P. & Head Events & Operations

Our client is a premium event and hospitality management company specializing in

corporate events, experiential programs, and destination management. Our MICE (Meetings,

Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions) division partners with global and domestic corporates to

design and deliver seamless, high-impact experiences from board meetings and conferences to international incentive trips and exhibitions.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic MICE Manager / Assistant Manager – Operations to

lead the end-to-end execution of large-scale corporate events, incentive travel programs, and

conferences. The role demands a strategic planner with strong leadership, negotiation, and

operational management skills who can ensure flawless delivery while maintaining profitability and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning & Project Management
  • Lead planning, budgeting, and execution of MICE projects from concept to

completion.

  • Work closely with clients to understand objectives, brand expectations, and event

KPIs.

  • Translate briefs into detailed operational plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet the company’s quality standards and client

expectations.

  • Team Leadership & Coordination
  • Supervise and mentor the MICE operations team and on-ground staff.
  • Coordinate across departments — creative, production, travel, logistics, and finance

— to ensure smooth execution.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining timelines and budgets.
  • Vendor & Partner Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hotels, DMCs, venues, production

houses, and logistics partners.

  • Negotiate vendor contracts for competitive pricing and high-quality deliverables.
  • Oversee procurement, service quality, and cost control.
  • Client Servicing & Communication
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients throughout the event lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular client updates, review meetings, and post-event debriefs.
  • Manage client expectations with proactive communication and professional

responsiveness.

  • On-Ground Execution & Quality Assurance
  • Oversee all operational aspects during event setup and execution.
  • Ensure contingency plans and smooth handling of last-minute changes or challenges.
  • Maintain strong brand presentation and guest experience throughout the event.
  • Financial Management & Reporting
  • Prepare and manage event budgets, P&Ls, and profitability tracking.
  • Approve vendor payments and manage billing documentation.
  • Develop post-event reports, feedback summaries, and improvement plans.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or Business Administration.

5–8 years of experience in MICE or corporate event operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

Proven ability to handle large-scale domestic and international events.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong negotiation and budgeting capabilities.

Deep understanding of the MICE industry, destinations, and travel logistics.

Proficiency in MS Office and event management tools.

Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and event executions.
