Assistant Manager/ Manager-Specialty Chemical

Overview

We are looking for a technically strong and commercially inclined professional to join our growing Chemicals & Materials Division, which focuses on specialty chemicals, electroplating, industrial materials, battery materials, and food-related products. This role involves supporting business development initiatives, managing CMO/CDMO projects, and contributing to customer engagement and project execution. The ideal candidate will bring experience from R&D, technical services, or product development, and should have a basic understanding of commercial processes in the specialty chemicals industry.Key Responsibilities

1. CMO/CDMO Project Support & Coordination

• Assist in handling customer inquiries related to Contract Manufacturing (CMO) and Contract Development & Manufacturing (CDMO), primarily for specialty and electronic chemicals.
• Support the identification and assessment of CMO/CDMO partners based on their capabilities, quality systems, and reliability.
• Coordinate with manufacturing partners on R&D, process scale-up, quality assurance, and documentation to ensure technical and regulatory alignment.
• Support project lifecycle activities including sampling, validation, timelines, and risk tracking.
• Help with data analysis and cost calculations to evaluate commercial feasibility of new projects.
• Participate in discussions on pricing and terms with internal stakeholders, customers, and manufacturing partners.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of regulatory and quality compliance aspects.
