Assistant Manager- Maintenance TCF (Electrical)

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer – Welding & Casting Equipment Department: Maintenance/Production Engineering Reporting To: Maintenance Manager / Plant Head Job Purpose: To ensure the efficient maintenance and operation of welding and casting equipment, including robotic systems, spot welding guns, and electropneumatic welding fixtures. The role focuses on minimizing downtime, improving machine reliability, and supporting production goals. Key Roles & Responsibilities: Perform regular preventive and breakdown maintenance of welding and casting equipment. Hands-on maintenance of spot welding guns (both manual and robotic welding guns). Maintain and troubleshoot electropneumatic welding fixtures, ensuring optimal functionality. Perform repair, servicing, and troubleshooting of robotic welding equipment. Diagnose and resolve technical issues in welding processes, fixtures, and associated equipment. Ensure the operational efficiency of casting machinery through scheduled maintenance and repairs. Collaborate with production and quality teams to minimize downtime and maintain product quality. Monitor machine performance and suggest improvements for reliability and efficiency. Maintain maintenance records, service logs, and documentation for audits and operational tracking. Adhere strictly to safety protocols and compliance regulations during maintenance activities. Desired Candidate Profile: Qualification: Diploma or BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics/Industrial Engineering or equivalent. Experience: 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience in maintenance of welding (manual and robotic) and casting equipment. Key Skills Required: Strong technical knowledge in spot welding equipment, robotic welding systems, and casting machinery. Experience in electropneumatic fixture maintenance. Proficient in troubleshooting robotics, welding guns, and mechanical/electrical components. Basic understanding of automation, PLCs (optional but desirable). Problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making abilities. Knowledge of safety standards related to welding and industrial maintenance. Work Model: Full-time | Onsite
