Job Title:

• Agreement Drafting & Negotiation:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, contracts, and legal documents, including but not limited to, vendor agreements, partnership agreements, service level agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other transactional documents.
• Ensure all agreements are legally sound, protect the company's interests, and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into robust legal terms.

• Legal Compliance:

• Monitor and analyze changes in legal and regulatory landscapes impacting the fintech and banking sectors.
• Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Provide legal advice and guidance on compliance matters, including data privacy, consumer protection, anti-money laundering (AML), and other regulatory requirements.
• Conduct legal research and due diligence to support compliance initiatives and risk assessments.

• Corporate Legal Matters:

• Advise on corporate governance matters, including board resolutions, company secretarial duties, and statutory filings.
• Assist in managing legal disputes, litigation, and regulatory inquiries.
• Provide legal support for new product development, business initiatives, and strategic partnerships.
• Manage relationships with external legal counsel as needed.

• Risk Management:

• Identify and assess legal risks associated with business operations and provide recommendations for mitigation.
• Contribute to the development of risk management strategies and frameworks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a reputable institution..

• 2+ years

  of post-qualification experience in a legal role, with a significant focus on agreement drafting and legal compliance.
• Proven experience working within the 

  fintech or banking domain

   is essential.
• Strong understanding of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory frameworks applicable to financial services.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
