Manage and lead kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food preparation and service. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations. Help with menu planning, inventory management, and ordering supplies as needed. Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and communication. Train new staff members on culinary techniques, kitchen procedures, and hospitality standards. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues to enhance the dining experience. Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements as necessary to optimise efficiency. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is essential, preferably in a supervisory or management role. Strong background in culinary practices, including food preparation techniques and kitchen operations. Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and teamwork. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
