Assistant Manager - Information Technology

Purpose/Objective

The objective of the role would be to lead site IT operations. The incumbent will be responsible to ensure high availability of IT Services to support business continuity and Digitalization of existing process.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Strategic Roles & Responsibilities 1. Maintain high availability of IT Services to support business continuity 2. Overseeing the Day-to-Day IT operations, including network infrastructure, systems administration, and Terminal Operating System(TOS). 3. Monitor performance and capacity of site IT services and solutions and ensure adherence to IT service level agreements; Resolve and escalate issues in case of non-adherence. 4. Implement processes and systems for maintaining security of IT solutions and services in line with standard operating procedures. 5. Ensure ongoing compliance to IT policies and protocols & get signoffs for any exceptions or non-compliance. 6. Co-ordinate with the Customs Ice gate technical team for Network and Customs Ice Gate related issue. 7. Co-ordination with Railway technical team for FOIS implementation and support. 8. Support the Adani Ports & Logistics Digital Team to integrate IT for business transformation using IOT, AI amongst many other technology drivers. Alignment with Technology and Analytics teams. 9. Monitoring and control of IT budget and provide regular updates to Head-IT Operational Responsibilities 1. Manage IT projects from start to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget at site 2. Creation of eNFA, PR, SES, GRN in SAP 3. Manage IT incidences, requests by users of site IT services; Ensure resolution within established TAT. People Management 1. Terminal Operations, trucking and rail operations team. 2. Techno-Commercial, Customer Services.

Technical Competencies

Business Understanding,MS Word, EXCEL and PowerPoint,Networking Knowledge,SAP Skills

Qualifications and Experience

Graduate with BCA/B.Tech IT. Graduation in computer domain specialization is must. - Minimum 5 – 8 years of IT Services, experience in Logistics domain would be preferred. - Desirable 1 – 2 years of experience of working at site & setup of IT Systems.
