Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – HR to handle core HR functions at our pharmaceutical manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of plant HR operations, statutory compliance, and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & onboarding for plant-level roles
  • Attendance, leave, and overtime management
  • Payroll coordination and data input
  • Handling employee relations and shop-floor grievance management
  • Statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, Factory Act, etc.)
  • Supporting training and development activities
  • Employee engagement initiatives
  • Liaison with government and labor authorities

Requirements:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in HR or related field
  • 1–3 years of HR experience in a manufacturing/plant setup (pharma preferred)
  • Good understanding of labor laws and compliance
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and HR systems
