Job Description


1. HR Operations & Administration

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations including attendance, leave, payroll inputs, and employee database management.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding, induction, and exit formalities.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure timely submission of MIS reports.

2. Statutory Compliance

  • Ensure 100% compliance with all statutory and labor laws (Factories Act, PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, etc.).
  • Liaise with government departments and external consultants for audits and inspections.
  • Maintain statutory registers, records, and documentation as per regulatory requirements.

3. Industrial Relations

  • Support cordial employeemanagement relations at the plant.
  • Assist in handling grievances, disciplinary actions, and domestic enquiries.
  • Participate in union meetings, negotiations, and ensure proactive communication with workforce representatives.

4. Recruitment & Talent Management

  • Support manpower planning and timely recruitment for both staff and workmen categories.
  • Coordinate skill assessment and training programs for employees.
  • Partner with functional heads to identify talent needs and succession plans.

5. Employee Engagement & Welfare

  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, welfare programs, and recognition activities at the plant.
  • Handle employee welfare schemes such as canteen, transportation, medical, and housing (if applicable).
  • Conduct regular employee connect sessions to capture
  • feedback and improve workplace morale.
  • 6. Learning & Development
  • o Identify training needs in coordination with department heads.
  • o Facilitate skill development and statutory training programs.
  • o Maintain training records as per ISO/IATF and statutory standards.
  • 7. HR Policy Implementation
  • o Implement HR policies and procedures at the plant level.
  • o Ensure discipline, uniform policy adherence, and grievance redressal.
  • o Provide inputs for continuous improvement in HR systems and processes.
  • For This Role, You will need:
  • Qualifications & Experience:
  • o Education: MBA / MSW / PGDHRM in Human Resources or Industrial Relations.
  • o Experience: 58 years of experience in HR, preferably in the manufacturing or engineering industry.
  • Knowledge:
  • o In-depth knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance.
  • o Experience in plant-level HR operations and IR handling.
  • o Exposure to ISO/IATF documentation (preferred).
  • Key Competencies:
  • o Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • o Ability to manage blue-collar workforce effectively.
  • o Conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • o Proactive and people-oriented approach.
  • o Strong integrity, confidentiality, and organizational skills.
  • Work Environment:
  • o Based at factory/plant location.
  • o Requires interaction with workers, union representatives, and government officials.
  • o May involve shift presence or extended working hours during audits or employee events.
