Roles & Responsibilities:

Prepare the appropriate legal documents for trial or court proceedings.
Maintaining the Legal MIS
Issuing Legal notice to vendors by stipulated time in regards to credit outstanding.
Represent the company in legal proceedings.
Payment reconciliation.
Protect the company against legal risks and violations.
Renewal of existing licences.
Documentation & legal proceedings for tender related assignments.
Legal proceedings & documentation regarding purchase & sale of Land/property.
Liaisoning.
Handling matters with Local Police(both commercial related or manpower).
Guide management on regulatory and compliance issues to ensure compliance with legal regulations.
Registration of documents and deeds.
Debt recovery from market.
Renewal of Property Tax, Mutation for existing & New Units of the Group.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in law.
Licensed to practice law from the State Bar Association.
A minimum of 4 - 6 years of experience as a corporate lawyer with total experience of 8-12 years of experience in Legal & compliance.
Age should be between 35 – 38 years.
Should be based in Kolkata.
Must be detailed oriented, have strong analytical aptitude.
Excellent communication skills (English,Hindi & Bengali).
Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
Outstanding managerial and negotiation skills.
