Job Description

The OTC Collections Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end collections process within the Order-to-Cash (OTC) cycle. This includes ensuring timely collection of outstanding receivables, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve disputes and improve cash flow.

Key Responsibilities

Collections Management:
Contact customers to collect overdue payments via calls, emails, and other communication channels.
Negotiate payment plans and ensure compliance with company policies.
Dispute Resolution:
Work with internal teams (Billing, Sales, Customer Service) to resolve invoice discrepancies and disputes promptly.
Reporting & Analysis:
Maintain accurate records of collection activities and account statuses.
Compliance:
Ensure all collection activities adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
Process Improvement:
Identify gaps in the OTC process and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
3 5 years of experience in OTC collections or accounts receivable in a corporate environment.
Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash processes, credit management, and cash application.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and MS Excel.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

Experience with collections software or CRM tools.
Knowledge of financial analysis and risk management.
