Assistant Manager

Role Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy, configure, and maintain endpoint security solutions including

  Antivirus, Anti-malware, Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), and Endpoint Protection Platforms (EPP)

  .
• Manage

  backup and recovery solutions

  such as

  Retrospect and Acronis

  to ensure data protection and business continuity.
• Implement and maintain

  email security controls

  , including filtering, encryption, authentication, and anti-phishing measures.
• Configure, monitor, and manage

  firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and VPNs

  to secure network infrastructure.
• Develop, implement, and enforce

  security policies, procedures, and standards

  to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor systems for security threats, vulnerabilities, and intrusions, and take proactive remediation actions.
  
• Actively participate in

  incident response activities

  , providing technical support during investigations of security incidents.
• Conduct

  risk assessments

  across both

  cloud and on-premises environments

  , identifying threats and recommending mitigation strategies.
• Perform

  vulnerability analysis

  and implement risk management frameworks to strengthen the overall security posture.
• Maintain comprehensive

  security documentation

  , including firewall rules, router configurations, and network security architecture.
• Stay current with emerging security technologies, threats, and best practices through continuous research and learning.
  

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong expertise in endpoint security, network security, and backup solutions
  
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and email security tools
  
• Knowledge of operational security, risk management, and compliance standards
  
• Excellent incident response and troubleshooting skills
  
• Strong documentation and communication abilities
  
• Ability to work effectively in dynamic IT environments
