Job Description

  • Understand and apply payer processes for Surgery, APC, and Outpatient services.
  • Accurately code and analyze clinical information to ensure proper reimbursement and compliance.
  • Provide input and develop solutions to automate data extraction from medical documents for coding and auditing purposes.
  • Conduct research on updated coding guidelines, clinical concepts, and resolve coding-related issues.
  • Perform benchmarking analysis and contribute to strategic management initiatives.
  • Prepare and present reports to the manager, ensuring prompt responses to emails and operational requirements.
  • Maintain current knowledge of surgical coding updates and related clinical practices.
  • Support training initiatives and multitask effectively across projects.
  • Utilize MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and internet-based tools for documentation and reporting.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
