Job Description

PositionAssistant Manager Asset ManagementDepartment

  • Draft, review and monitor Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Operations & Maintenance contracts, negotiate insurance policies and other commercial contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and flag potential risks to management.
  • Maintain contract and insurance claims repository and track key deliverables, obligations and milestones.

Power Sale & Commercial Operations

  • Oversee execution of power sale agreements with C&I clients and distribution companies.
  • Coordinate scheduling, billing, and settlements of power sale transactions.
  • Monitor open access, wheeling and banking arrangements as per state regulations.

Regulatory & Compliance (RECs / RPOs / Open Access / Form C)

  • Manage Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) accreditation, registration and trading processes.
  • Track Renewable Purchase Obligation (RPO) compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities, SLDCs, DISCOMs and trading platforms for compliance and approvals.

Financial & Performance Monitoring

  • Track revenue realization, payment collection and invoice reconciliation.
  • Support analysis of project performance against budgeted financial models.
  • Provide inputs for MIS, dashboards and management reporting.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as point of contact for clients, regulators and trading agencies.
  • Support dispute resolution related to contracts, billing, or compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal O&M, finance, and legal teams to align asset management objectives.

Education:

  • Graduate in Engineering / Commerce / Energy / Business Administration.
  • MBA in Energy / Power Management preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of renewable energy (solar/wind/hybrid) in the C&I sector.
  • Hands-on experience with contract management, open access, and REC mechanisms.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks, power trading, and energy market operations.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MIS reporting tools; exposure to ERP systems preferred.
