Assistant Manager Talent Acquisition

Role Overview

Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the

    entire recruitment lifecycle

    – manpower planning, sourcing, screening, interviewing, salary negotiation, and onboarding.
  • Partner with business and functional heads to understand hiring needs and build

    effective recruitment strategies

    aligned with organizational goals.
  • Develop and maintain

    robust talent pipelines

    for critical and niche positions within the solar and energy domain.
  • Source candidates through multiple channels – job portals, professional networks, referrals, and social media platforms (LinkedIn, Naukri, etc.).
  • Drive

    employer branding initiatives

    and participate in job fairs and industry events to enhance visibility in the renewable energy talent market.
  • Maintain and analyze

    recruitment metrics, dashboards, and reports

    to monitor hiring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage

    vendor relationships

    and ensure adherence to recruitment SLAs and quality parameters.
  • Stay abreast of

    industry trends, talent availability, and compensation benchmarks

    .
  • Support HR projects related to

    diversity hiring, process improvement, and employee experience

    .

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    – essential for candidate engagement, stakeholder interaction, and negotiation.
  • 8–10 years of experience in

    Talent Acquisition

    , preferably in the

    Power, Solar, or Renewable Energy

    industry.
  • Strong understanding of technical roles such as project engineers, design engineers, EPC professionals, site managers, and O&M experts.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple requirements simultaneously and deliver within tight timelines.
  • Strong

    stakeholder management, interpersonal, and influencing skills

    .
  • Proficiency in

    Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), MS Excel, and HR analytics tools

    .
  • Strategic mindset with attention to detail and a results-oriented approach.

Educational Qualification

  • MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
  • Certifications in recruitment, HR analytics, or strategic workforce planning are a plus.
