Assistant Manager

Role Overview: Adani Power Limited (APL) is seeking a Maintenance Manager to ensure high equipment availability and reliability in the coal handling plants. Your role will involve tracking and reducing failure rates, performing calibration and vibration analysis, maintaining the Auto Coal Sampler Unit, managing spare parts inventory, budget planning, and implementing digitization and automation strategies. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the maintenance of Coal Handling Plants to maintain high equipment availability. - Track and reduce Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), Mean Time to Repair (MTR), and increase overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). - Perform calibration and vibration analysis activities for equipment reliability. - Operate and maintain the Auto Coal Sampler Unit (ACSU) for accurate sampling. - Generate work orders for painting, structural strengthening, and corrosion mitigation. - Provide details for Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) risk analysis. - Manage spare parts inventory focusing on critical equipment and reduce Non-Moving Inventory (NMI). - Support budget planning for cost-effective operations. - Implement IMS, AWMS, DISHA, CHETNA, Six Sigma, ABEM, and LAKSHYA guidelines. - Ensure compliance with preventive maintenance, safety standards, and environmental regulations. - Execute digitization and automation strategies for operational efficiency. Qualifications Required: - BE/B.tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. - 4+ years of experience in maintenance management within heavy industries, preferably coal handling or power plants. - Experience in the power generation, mining, or heavy industrial sector with a focus on coal handling systems is preferred.,
