Assistant General Manager

As Assistant General Manager - Strategic Sourcing & Supply Chain Management in Nashik, your primary responsibility will be to source critical parts for Auxiliary parts for DG sets and procure Mechanical parts according to the plan. You should possess a deep understanding of proprietary parts, as well as other standard bought-out parts necessary for HHP engines. Your expertise should extend to knowledge of Third-party inspection agencies and the necessary actions at the supplier's end for First Time Right (FTR) outcomes. You will be leading a team of sourcing managers to ensure the release of jobs and the achievement of monthly sales plans. It will be your duty to guide the team in meeting project timelines, adhering to commercial guidelines within budgets, and hitting annual cost reduction targets. You will oversee the completion of New Product Development (NPD) projects on time, negotiate with suppliers, finalize prices using a zero-based costing approach, and comprehend the Theory of Constraints (TOC) methodology. Additionally, you will be expected to address and resolve supplier capacity issues, as well as tackle receipt and line quality issues promptly. You will initiate resourcing whenever necessary, ensure timely implementation of part modifications, and play a vital role in process improvement activities at the supplier's end. Your role will also involve developing a sourcing plan for commodities, formulating a sourcing strategy, and driving continuous improvements in the sourcing process.,
