Job Summary

As a Government Affairs-AGM at Emaar India, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of government relations, public affairs, and regulatory compliance for the company. You will work closely with various government agencies and officials at the central, state, and local levels to ensure that Emaar India is fully compliant with all relevant regulations, laws, and policies. You will also work closely with the company's senior management team to develop and implement strategies that promote the company's interests and priorities with government officials and other key stakeholders.

Role & responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies and officials at the central, state, and local levels.
  • Monitor and analyze government policies and regulatory developments that may impact Emaar India's business operations.
  • Collaborate with the company's senior management team to develop and implement government affairs strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Manage the company's regulatory compliance activities, including tracking regulatory requirements, coordinating regulatory filings, and ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Represent Emaar India in meetings, conferences, and other forums with government officials and other key stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of contacts across government, industry, and other relevant sectors.
  • Provide guidance and support to other departments within the company on government affairs and regulatory compliance matters.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of Emaar India's business operations, products, and services to effectively communicate the company's interests to government officials and other stakeholders.

Preferred candidate profile

  • A degree in Architecture, law, or a related field.
  • 15-20 years of experience in government affairs, public policy, or a related field, with a focus on real estate or construction.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with government agencies and officials at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of government regulations, policies, and procedures related to real estate and construction.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
