Senior Design Manager

Job Summary Successful candidate will mandatorily possess good communication skills/soft interpersonal skills, understanding of real estate domain along with the Analytical and Presentation skills. The Design and Development Manager will be responsible for overseeing the design and development process of various real estate projects. The incumbent will work closely with the project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants, to ensure that the projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Role & responsibilities Manage and lead the design and development process of various real estate projects. Coordinate with the project team to ensure that design and development activities are executed according to the project schedule and budget. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets. Manage and review the work of architects, engineers, and other consultants to ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards. Manage and maintain relationships with external contractors and vendors. Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations. Develop and implement processes to improve design and development efficiency and quality. Develop and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, design drawings, and project specifications. Provide technical guidance and support to the project team as needed. Identify and mitigate project risks and issues. Preferred candidate profile Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in real estate design and development management. Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. Knowledge of local building codes and regulations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications.
