Assist BIM Manager in training of project personnel in the use of BIM tools. Create and Maintain BIM Models for Project Specific Requirements. Able to identify conflicts, incomplete or ambiguous design information and discuss with engineering team and coordinate with other discipline teams. Attend or manage model coordination meetings and document project preconstruction / BIM meetings. Create new library components and maintain once project is over. Provide ongoing support for all BIM applications and work closely with Design. Generating BIM documents to submit for construction/bidding purposes and Participate in Structure Coordination phases of projects when Revit models are required for clash detection. Maintain BIM standards and design templates to ensure quality and consistency of design environment and deliverables throughout various offices worldwide. Review and QA/QC project deliverables. Qualifications Diploma (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college, institute or university. Min.6+ years’ Experience Good communication skills, and ability to work well independently at times. Able to see the “bigger picture” and take a birds-eye view of projects Confident, with the ability to work either independently or as part of a team. Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure. Candidates will be responsible for the following activities: Develops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Works under only general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Experience in retail and hospitality medium to large projects. Experience in UK, UAE, US, Canada, ANZ (preferred). Experience in delivering projects in BIM and relevant discipline software. Receives instructions on specific assignment objectives, complex features, and possible solutions. Should be knowledgeable in building design services, associated regulations and technical standards. Capable of working on as own initiative, as an overall responsibility and accountability for assigned work. Qualifications The successful candidate will have the following Qualifications: Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university. Applicants must have between 5-10 years of experience in Civil Engineering, Middle East/US/UK experience, which would be desirable but are not essential.
