Job Description

Job Summary: The Soft Services/Assistant Manager will be responsible for managing and delivering all aspects of soft services within the facility, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, hospitality, and client satisfaction. This includes housekeeping, landscaping, pest control, waste management, pantry, front office, and related services. Key Responsibilities: Operations Management: Oversee daily soft services operations at the site. Ensure housekeeping, landscaping, pantry, pest control, waste management, and concierge/front office services meet quality standards. Conduct daily rounds to ensure adherence to SOPs and service SLAs. Ensure timely execution of periodic deep cleaning, façade cleaning, and fumigation activities. Vendor & Team Management: Manage and coordinate with third-party vendors and in-house teams. Review and verify manpower deployment, duty rosters, and shift planning. Monitor vendor KPIs and ensure timely issue resolution/escalation. Conduct performance reviews and vendor audits periodically. Client Interaction & Service Quality: Act as a single point of contact for soft services-related issues. Ensure client satisfaction through regular feedback, audits, and service improvements. Maintain excellent client relationships and handle escalations professionally. Inventory & Budget Control: Monitor consumables, cleaning material usage, and pantry stock. Raise purchase requisitions and track expenditures within budget limits. Identify cost-optimization and process-improvement opportunities. Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards. Conduct training and awareness programs for soft services staff. Ensure documentation related to audits, inspections, and statutory requirements is up-to-date. Qualifications: Graduate in any discipline. Diploma in Facility Management or Hotel Management preferred. Minimum 5–8 years of experience in managing soft services in large commercial/residential/IT parks. Strong vendor management and team-handling capabilities. Skills Required: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage large teams and multiple vendors Knowledge of housekeeping machinery and chemicals Eye for detail and service excellence Proficiency in MS Office and FM software (like CAFM, CMMS preferred) Show more Show less
