Assistant Event Manager

Job Description: Assistant Event Manager – TKC

Position Type: Full-Time / Permanent
Location: TKC
Department: Events & Operations
Reporting To: Event Manager / Project Head

Key Responsibilities

1. Event Planning & Coordination

• Support the Event Manager in planning, structuring, and executing all TKC events.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, partners, and internal teams.
• Assist in preparing event timelines, task lists, checklists, and flow plans.

2. Communication & Client Handling

• Maintain smooth communication with exhibitors, clients, sponsors, and participants.
• Handle queries and ensure timely resolutions.
• Coordinate with marketing team for event promotions.

3. On-Ground Event Support

• Supervise event setup, stall arrangements, branding placement, and logistics.
• Ensure that all event elements are executed as per plan.
• Manage volunteer teams, support staff, and temporary crew.

4. Operations & Administration

• Prepare daily reports, event progress updates, & documentation.
• Maintain data of exhibitors, vendors, and visitors.
• Assist with billing, payments follow-up, & coordination with accounts team.

5. Quality Control & Standards

• Ensure TKC’s event quality, safety protocols, and professionalism are maintained.
• Handle last-minute changes effectively and calmly.

6. Post-Event Responsibilities

• Support in event closure, material return, feedback collection, and final reporting.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong communication & interpersonal skills
• Good command over coordination and multitasking
• Basic understanding of event marketing & operations
• Ability to work under pressure during event days
• Problem-solving abilities & leadership mindset
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Qualifications

• Graduate in Any Field
• Event Management Course (Optional but preferred)
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in events / operations (freshers with passion can apply)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Internship, Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹12,326.27 - ₹41,512.28 per month
