Job Description

: Supervisor/ Assistant Manager – Engineering

:

Engineering Degree/ Diploma

:

Hospitality industry experience of property management & maintenance

Specialization in HVAC chill water systems or in Electricals/ Electronics

If specializing in IT/ tech/ CS

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Property Maintenance:
Preventive maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems in the hotel
Team Management:
Lead & train engineering team to ensure timely rectification of any issues
Guest Service Support:
Ensure swift resolution of guest-related maintenance issues with minimal disruption
Compliance & Safety:
Enforce hotel safety protocols and ensure compliance with local regulations and brand standards
Asset Management:
Monitor and maintain all technical equipment and hotel infrastructure to prolong asset life
Energy Efficiency:
Support energy-saving initiatives and monitor utility usage to reduce costs
Inventory & Budgeting:
Assist in managing department budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor coordination
Reporting:
Maintain accurate logs, checklists, and reports on maintenance activities and incidents
Emergency Response:
Act as key support during emergencies (fire, power failure, etc.) and coordinate necessary actions
