Job Description

Assistant Design Engineer (Mechanical) Job Responsibilities: Design new machinery, products, and engineering processes. Prepare 2D/3D drawings and models using AutoCAD. Analyze prototype performance and make improvements if required. Improve existing machines and production processes. Prepare installation, operation, and maintenance manuals. Create technical reports, quotations, and scope-of-supply documents. Visit client sites to understand plant processes and gain practical knowledge. Coordinate with clients, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and site teams for smooth project execution. Prepare cost analysis sheets for proposed and ongoing projects. Communicate regularly with the China engineering team regarding drawings, material supply, modifications, and dispatch. Required Skills: Strong mechanical design fundamentals. Good knowledge of AutoCAD, CAD Good Knowledge of Excel also Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints. Knowledge of ceramic industry machinery is preferred. Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical machine parts. Familiar with tools and measuring instruments. Good communication skills in English; able to coordinate with Chinese engineers in English. Problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a team.
