Experience Required: 5+ years in Technical Sales / Industrial Automation / Pneumatics Education: Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering MBA in Sales/Marketing (preferred) Job Description We are looking for a highly motivated Assistant Area Sales Manager (Asst. A.S.M.) to support our regional sales operations in the Pneumatics and Automation industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in business development, client management, and achieving sales targets while coordinating with internal and field sales teams. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development: Assist in achieving sales targets within the assigned area/territory. Develop & maintain relationships with existing & potential customers . Support in generating new leads, converting prospects & closing deals . Conduct sales visits, presentations & product demonstrations to customers. Provide pricing, quotations & negotiation support to ensure profitability. Customer Relationship Management: Address customer inquiries, technical queries & after-sales support . Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing timely responses. Assist in managing key accounts & maintaining long-term business relationships . Sales Process & Reporting: Maintain customer data, sales activities & follow-ups in CRM. Submit weekly/monthly sales performance reports to the senior sales team. Track market trends, competition activities & new opportunities for business expansion. Coordination & Team Support: Work closely with Area Sales Manager (A.S.M.), Regional Sales Manager (R.S.M.), and Internal Sales Team . Collaborate with the technical support team for product-specific queries. Participate in sales meetings, strategy discussions & training programs . Key Requirements: 5+ years of experience in B2B technical sales, business development, or automation industry . Strong knowledge of Pneumatic Cylinders, Valves, FRLs, Air Service Units, Solenoid Valves, Actuators, Fittings & Tubes . Excellent communication, negotiation & presentation skills . Ability to handle sales processes from inquiry to order execution . Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) & CRM (Preferably Sugar CRM) . Ability to work independently, meet sales targets & travel within the assigned area . Location-All india
