Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Accountant located in Mumbai. The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing comprehensive financial reports, and assisting with audits. Key responsibilities include reconciling bank statements, processing invoices, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies. This role requires advanced proficiency in Tally ERP9 for daily accounting operations, transaction management, and financial data processing. Additionally, advanced Excel skills are essential for creating detailed reports, data analysis, financial modeling, and managing complex spreadsheets for accounting and reporting purposes. The successful candidate must demonstrate expertise in both Tally and Excel as these tools are fundamental to daily operations and critical for accurate financial management and reporting.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Accounting and Bookkeeping

• Experience with Financial Reporting and Audits

• Knowledge of Tax Compliance and Regulations

• Familiarity with Accounting Software and MS Office

• Advanced knowledge of Tally ERP9 and Excel

• Strong Analytical and Problem-solving Skills

• Excellent Attention to Detail and Organizational Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
