Job Role: Mainframe Developer

Experience:10+years

Locations: Hyderabad/Bangalore

Job Description:

Lead the assessment, planning, and execution of AS400 legacy application retirement.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration with MES and SAP S/4HANA platforms.

Analyze existing AS400 systems, document business processes, and identify dependencies.

Develop and implement migration strategies including data archival, system decommissioning, and validation.

Ensure compliance with enterprise IT standards, data governance, and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate with stakeholders across business, IT, and operations to align project goals and timelines.

Support testing, cutover planning, and post-migration stabilization activities.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams and vendors.

Required Skills & Experience:

Extensive experience working with AS400 systems, including RPG programming and DB2 databases.

Proven track record in leading legacy system retirement and enterprise system integration projects.

Familiarity with MES platforms and SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.

Strong understanding of manufacturing or regulated industry environments.

Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage project deliverables independently.
