About the Role

AI Specialist / AI Lead Engineer

Azure OpenAI, Azure Foundry, Azure Cognitive Search

Key Responsibilities & Required Expertise

🔹 RAG & Knowledge Retrieval

• Hands-on experience with

  Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

• Expertise with

  Azure Cognitive Search

  , Cosmos DB, embedding generation, chunking, semantic ranking & indexing.

🔹 Agentic AI with Semantic Kernel

• Strong experience in

  task planning, tool/function calling, memory management

  , and autonomous reasoning flows.

🔹 Multi-Turn Conversational AI

• Experience building conversational agents using

  Azure OpenAI GPT-4/4o

  (inference-only mode).
• Secure prompt design and session handling.

🔹 Prompt Engineering

• Skilled in system prompts, dynamic templates, user intent extraction & guardrail strategies.

🔹 Azure AI & ML Ecosystem

• Familiarity with

  Azure AI Studio

  , Prompt Flow, and Azure ML for deployment, testing, and monitoring.

🔹 Embedding Models

• Knowledge of Azure-native embedding models:
• text-embedding-ada-002, Foundry embeddings, etc.

🔹 Enterprise-Grade Security & Compliance

• Experience building AI systems aligned with

  SOC 2, GDPR, RBAC

  .
• Strict adherence to

  no customer data use

  for training or fine-tuning.

🔹 Engineering & Integration

• Strong

  Python

  skills with Azure SDKs, REST APIs, Semantic Kernel.
• Experience integrating AI into

  React JS

  apps and

  OutSystems

  low-code environments.

🔹 Collaboration

• Work closely with architects, PMs, and UX teams to map procurement workflows into intelligent assistant behavior.
