Area Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales & Target Achievement • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for prepaid Airtel services. • Drive SIM activations. • Monitor competitor activities and ensure market share growth. 3. Team Management • Recruit, train, and manage Field Sales Executives (FSEs). • Track performance and ensure productivity benchmarks are met. • Provide regular guidance, motivation, and field support. 4. Market Development • Identify and expand into new markets and untapped geographies. • Strengthen Airtel’s presence in urban, semi-urban, and rural markets. • Drive visibility through branding, POS materials, and on-ground activations. 5. Customer & Service Orientation • Ensure best-in-class customer experience at retail points. 6. Reporting & Compliance • Provide regular sales reports, MIS, and market insights. • Ensure compliance with company policies, guidelines, and regulatory norms. ______________ Key Skills Required: • Strong sales and negotiation skills • Good understanding of telecom products & distribution network • Leadership & team management ability • Analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ______________ Qualification & Experience: • HSC / Graduate preferred • 6 months to -2 years of experience in telecom sales • Proven track record of managing sales targets
