Role Overview:


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven sales candidate with 5-10 years of experience in industrial capital equipment sales. The selected candidate will undergo extensive training at our Bangalore headquarters for at least 1 month before taking on full sales responsibility for the Maharashtra region.

This role involves managing the complete sales cycle — from lead generation to order closure — while building strong, trust-based relationships with customers.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Identify, qualify, and develop business opportunities in the target market for our product portfolio.

2. Conduct detailed customer requirement analysis and prepare tailored technical-commercial proposals.

3. Collaborate with the application, proposal & design team to provide engineered solutions.

4. Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, Tier 1 customers and other industry stakeholders.

5. Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, and customer presentations to promote products.

6. Maintain CRM records and prepare accurate sales forecasts.

7. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to suggest strategic improvements.

8. Coordinate post-sales activities to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.


Requirements :


Education:

B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.


Experience:

  1. 5-10 years of experience in sales of capital equipment, SPMs, or automation solutions.
  2. Exposure to precision machining, grinding, honing, or automation industry preferred.
  3. Exposure of handling and networking with OEM & Tier 1 customers would be an added advantage.


Skills & Attributes:


  1. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
  2. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  3. Self-motivated with a proactive sales approach.
  4. Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  5. Proficient in MS Office & CRM tools.
