Job Description

We are seeking on behalf of our reputed Client (A fast-growing company in the renewable energy sector), a passionate and results-driven Area Sales Manager with a strong background in solar sales, especially in on-grid inverters, and a keen interest in clean energy solutions.

Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Solar Industry

Location: Trivandrum & Kochi, Kerala

Experience Required: 2–5 years in solar/renewable energy sales


Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Business Development

Develop and execute effective sales strategies for solar on-grid inverters and related products.

•                    Manage the complete sales cycle — from lead generation and qualification to deal closure.

•                    Identify and pursue new business opportunities and market segments within the region.


Sales, Marketing & Account Management

·      Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, EPC companies, and channel partners.

·      Deliver compelling presentations, lead high-level negotiations, and close large-value deals.

·      Collaborate with marketing to execute local campaigns, brand awareness initiatives, and digital outreach efforts.

·      Stay informed about the latest solar technologies, market trends, and regulatory developments.


Reporting & Events

·      Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market feedback.

·      Represent the Company at trade shows, exhibitions, and local community events to promote our offerings and network with potential clients.


Qualifications & REquisite Skills:

·      Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or ECE Engineering.

·      MBA in Sales & Marketing is a plus.

·      2 to 5 years of proven experience in sales within the solar or renewable energy industry.

·      Hands-on experience with solar panels, inverters, energy storage systems, and related components.

•      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

•      Strong negotiation and deal-closing abilities.

•      Ability to work independently and manage sales targets.

•      Solid understanding of the regional solar market and customer requirements
