Area Sales Manager

Job Purpose:

To lead and manage the sales operations in the assigned area, drive growth in handset finance, NBFC products, fintech solutions, and banking tie-ups, ensuring effective channel management, target achievement, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve area-wise sales targets for telecom, mobile finance, NBFC, and fintech products.
• Build and manage relationships with channel partners, dealers, and distributors.
• Drive handset sales through EMI/NBFC finance schemes and manage documentation flow with finance partners.
• Lead and mentor a team of Sales Executives / Relationship Officers.
• Ensure onboarding of new dealers/retailers and continuous engagement with them.
• Monitor daily/weekly/monthly sales performance and take corrective actions.
• Collaborate with banking and finance institutions to push relevant financial products (loans, credit, mobile finance).
• Conduct market analysis and competitor tracking to identify growth opportunities.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and handle escalations effectively.
• Coordinate with credit and operations team for seamless customer experience.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in Telecom/Finance/NBFC/Mobile Handset/Fintech industry.
• Strong team management and leadership skills.
• Good knowledge of EMI schemes, NBFC operations, and channel sales.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with local market and retail networks.

Preferred Experience:

• Worked in companies like Bajaj Finance, Home Credit, Airtel Finance, Paytm, PhonePe, HDB, etc.
• Hands-on experience in selling mobile phones with financing solutions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹17,004.11 - ₹64,060.32 per month
