The Opportunity:

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead our school sales initiatives in your region. You will be the face of Extramarks, responsible for acquiring new school partnerships and managing key relationships, directly impacting our growth and the learning experience of thousands of students


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed revenue targets for the assigned area.
  • Prospect, identify, and onboard new K-12 schools (CBSE, ICSE, State Boards) for Extramarks' integrated learning solutions.
  • Conduct persuasive product presentations and demonstrations to school principals, management committees, and educators.
  • Build and nurture long-term, trusted relationships with key decision-makers in the school ecosystem.
  • Understand the unique needs of each school and provide tailored solutions.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation and closure.
  • Collaborate with the academic and support teams to ensure seamless implementation and high customer satisfaction.
  • Provide market intelligence and feedback to the leadership team


What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: 1-2 years of proven B2B sales experience, preferably in EdTech, Insurance, Medical Field, Publishing, or School Sales. Experience in direct school sales is a significant advantage.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA is a plus


Skills:

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Good understanding of the K-12 education landscape in your region.
  • Tech-savvy and proficient with MS Office and CRM tools
