Area Sales Manager

As an experienced professional in the Health Care/Surgical products industry, you should have a minimum of 4-5 years of prior work experience in the Healthcare or OTC segment. Your strong communication skills and effective time management abilities will be key assets in this role. You should be well-versed in working in beat format and have hands-on experience in conducting retail and doctor visits independently. Previous experience in managing a team of frontline salespeople is essential for this position. Having an established client database of Medical shops and Doctors in your region of operations will be advantageous. Additionally, owning a 2-wheeler vehicle for market coverage and a smartphone to utilize the company's Field Monitoring App are necessary requirements. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of frontline salespeople, defining beats with a shoplist of medical shops, doctors, and physios for each salesperson on a monthly basis. Conducting joint fieldwork with the sales team to promote and sell the company's orthotics product range is a key aspect of the job. Utilizing the company's field monitoring app to log calls and ensuring your team follows the same protocol is crucial. Independently shortlisting and appointing Distributors/Dealers in major cities, as well as managing relationships with them, are part of your responsibilities. You will also be involved in conducting various marketing activities as defined by the company in the region. Regular reporting to Regional Heads, setting and achieving sales targets for yourself and your team, and organizing meetings and seminars to motivate and create business opportunities are integral to this role.
